We invite you to attend the Sudan Day Berlin 2026 on 20 June 2026 (10:00
am to 6:00 pm, CEST = Berlin time) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin,
Main Building, Unter den Linden 6, 10117 Berlin, Lecture Hall 2091, or
to follow the event online.
This year’s research colloquium is dedicated to the topic ‘Conservation
of Sudanese Archaeological Heritage: Experiences, Realities &
Perspectives’. Please find attached the flyer and programme.
The Sudan Day Berlin 2026 colloquium is organised by
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Institute of Archaeology, AKNOA), the
Sudan Archaeological Society Berlin (SAG) e.V., the Egyptian Museum and
Papyrus Collection (ÄMP-SMB), the University of Applied Sciences (HTW,
Conservation & Restoration) and the German Archaeological Institute
(DAI) in close collaboration with Sudanese partners. Attendance is free
of charge.
