NCAM Director General Letter of Appeal

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

The ongoing war in Sudan is deeply concerning and saddening and many Sudanese people are affected and suffering as a result. There have been significant civilian casualties. The country’s infrastructure, institutions and cultural heritage are severely endangered and damaged by widespread armed conflict and instability. Our thoughts remain with the people of Sudan and in the hope of a rapid return to peace and a better future.
Attached please find a letter from Professor Ibrahim Musa, Director General of the National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums, Sudan, appealing for your urgent and immediate assistance to help NCAM during this dark time. Please give it serious attention. They need your help.
Following below is a link to an article by Nesrine Malik from the Guardian newspaper, detailing the current desperate situation in Sudan.
Best wishes,

Julie
